Jamaican TikTokers Jaii “Figure It Out” and Akeem have been receiving death threats following the death of fellow TikToker Niah Gang. Niah, 23, was fatally injured over the weekend during a TikTok livestream.
Niah was playing a match with another TikToker while seated in a chair outside alongside a man who was said to be his cousin. After a sound is heard in the background, the man suddenly runs off, and Niah quickly follows behind him. Multiple gunshots were heard immediately after.

The footage of his death has gone viral, and the public is pointing fingers at Figure It Out and his friend, Akeem, for Niah being gunned down.
The public accused Figure It Out and Akeem because of an altercation that occurred between them and Niah during a live stream not long ago.

Additionally, Figure It Out threatened Niah’s life on TikTok, leading several social media users to say that too many threats were made for it not to be him. Notably, it seems that the three men were friends at some point, causing some people to label them as “friend killers.”
However, Figure It Out shut down the accusations during a livestream, explaining that he was not even aware of Niah’s death until his TikTok viewers bombarded his live stream with news of the incident. Figure It Out. He questioned how he could be responsible when he was streaming live on TikTok when the incident occurred.
“Unuh stop spread allegations pan mi weh nuh go so,” he said. While indicating that he constantly looks over his shoulder when he is out, he said that the allegations were setting up his life. He also spoke about the advice he gave Niah to stop speaking ill of others, which he noted that the public did not take into consideration.

Ackeem also went live, showing messages between him and Niah to squash the rumours. He urged the public to cease the accusations, adding that Niah had arguments with several other people. Akeem, also known as Mr Handsome, said that he received many messages threatening his mother and his family.
