Dancehall artiste Ishawna is mourning the death of her beloved grandmother, Ruby. Ishawna is known for keeping much of her personal life out of the public eye, but on Wednesday, she offered a rare and deeply emotional glimpse into her grief. She shared a heartfelt tribute to her grandmother on Instagram, breaking the news that she had passed away.
The post featured a touching video compilation of memories with her grandmother, who passed away in her 80s. Some clips show joyful moments between Ruby and Ishawna, showing their close bond.
The video was shared with the track A Song For Mama by Boyz II Men. In the caption, Ishawna wrote, “My heart is shattered…broken beyond repair RIP to my beautiful grandmother!”
