Chad Walker has responded publicly to social media influencer Drezel Simmonds’ explosive tell-all video, offering his own account of their troubled relationship during a sit-down interview on the Toxic Talk podcast with host Jaii Frais. The interview was recorded just hours after Drezel released her video, in which she accused Chad of being a narcissist, threatening her life, and deliberately spreading lies to destroy her reputation and brand.
During the podcast, Chad firmly repeated his long-standing claim that an expensive gold chain belonging to him was allegedly stolen by Drezel. He said it went missing while Drezel was moving out of the apartment they once shared. He stated that the chain was something he wore regularly, and it went missing on the same day Drezel was packing her belongings to leave, while police were present. He said he requested police assistance at the time and asked that her bags be searched, but officers did not search all of them.
Drezel has previously said that police refused to fully search her belongings because Chad was aggressive toward them, and that officers assured her they were watching closely and believed she had not taken anything. Addressing that claim, Chad admitted his tone may not have been ideal but said his frustration came from realising the chain was gone. He also disputed Drezel’s statement that police were present to protect her, insisting instead that they were there because his own safety was at risk.
Chad alleged that a prior incident between them had led to police involvement. He described an argument that began one night when Drezel was on the phone behind a closed door, which he found unusual. While she reportedly said she was trying to keep her daughter from interrupting the call, Chad said he did not believe that explanation. He claimed an argument followed, during which Drezel shouted at him despite his attempts to calm the situation.
According to Chad, the confrontation escalated when she allegedly struck him with a door multiple times. Although he reportedly tried to walk away, she continued pushing the issue, causing tensions to grow, and the situation became physical. Chad claimed Drezel attempted to take his phone from his pocket, bit his arm during the struggle, and later pulled a knife on him, cutting the pocket of his shorts in the process. He said he reported the incident to the police and that Drezel was arrested, detained, and later released on bail.
He added that the matter eventually went to court, but said he chose to drop the charges. Chad explained that his decision was based on concern for Drezel’s daughter, stating that the child depended solely on her mother, as the other parent was absent.
Chad also addressed Drezel’s account of a separate driving incident, which she described as ending with her falling out of a vehicle. He said he was driving with Drezel and her daughter in the car when an argument broke out over directions. Chad admitted his tone may have been sharp, and said he slammed the brakes during the argument, causing the car to stop abruptly in the middle of the road. He claimed that as traffic approached, he drove off to avoid a collision, not realising that Drezel was stepping out of the vehicle at the same time. He said she fell, and he urged her to stand up quickly because residents were nearby and the scene could affect their public image.
During the interview, Chad also pushed back against claims that his parents disliked him or had issues with him. Instead, he said his parents disliked Drezel and had warned him about her repeatedly. According to Chad, their disapproval stemmed from what they viewed as her lifestyle and manner of dress, which he described as not classy. He said ignoring his mother’s advice ultimately cost him both financially and emotionally.
Chad went further, claiming that many people distanced themselves from him professionally once they learned he was in a relationship with Drezel. He said he even lost friends and seemingly indicated it was a domino effect of having her in his life. He said he encountered obstacles and lost opportunities because of the association. He also alleged that Drezel struggled financially and repeated claims that she provided escort services, stating he found evidence on her phone that suggested she sold explicit content and entertained men for money.
In another unexpected twist, Chad spoke about what he described as a spiritual experience involving Drezel. He claimed that one night, he saw a dark entity standing over her while she slept and that she could not wake up. According to him, after several attempts, he managed to rouse her and believed her life was “leaving her body” at the time. He claimed the entity was following her because he saw it at her place on a separate occasion. Chad’s interview has racked up over 100,000 views in less than 24 hours and left many both shocked and amused.
