Chad Walker is cautioning social media users to be careful who they bully, indicating that they could drive someone to suicide. On Monday morning, he responded to the wave of criticism and mocking memes that followed his recent interview about his scandalous breakup with influencer Drezel Simmonds.
He described what he has been facing online a bullying, and explained how internet reactions can affect people differently, especially those who may not be emotionally equipped to handle constant attacks. “Not everyone is mentally tough or strong enough to endure what the internet is doing to me right now,” Walker said in a video shared to IG Stories. “Bullying don’t work with me
While he emphasised that he personally does not feel shaken by the comments, he questioned the purpose behind the cruelty he has been experiencing. “Does it make sense? No, it doesn’t. Now this has become parasitic,” he added, describing the online response as excessive and damaging.
Walker continued to stress that others may not be able to withstand similar pressure. He also referenced the recent tragedy of former Miss Universe Jamaica contestant Tyra Spaulding, who died by suicide.
“You don’t know what people are going through. Without even knowing the truth about something, you have the whole fan base and internet base, well, some people, a say the meanest things and the wickedest things. But what if somebody is not as strong as me? They’re going to kill themselves. ,” he said.
Amid the controversy, Walker briefly made his Instagram account private as negative responses intensified. He later reopened the page and continued posting, including a message indicating that he would be offering dating advice. His return to social media also included a more commercial turn, as he announced plans to sell T-shirts connected to the scandal.
One of the shirts featured his photo alongside the words “I Survived a Narcissist.” The prices began at $4,500 and went as high as $10,000. The move drew attention as an attempt to capitalise on the controversy that has impacted his public image. However, his post drew laughter and mocking responses from the public.
