A woman, who pleaded guilty to putting a hit on her husband, committed suicide outside a San Diego bar in California. Authorities confirmed that the deceased, Tatyana Remley, shot herself in the head last week.
An explosion was heard last Thursday, and Remley was found lying on the walkway near the outdoor seating area of a restaurant. Emergency responders said that when they arrived, Remley was unresponsive. Police officers and paramedics attempted lifesaving measures, but their efforts were unsuccessful.
Footage released by TMZ shows emergency responders trying to save her life. The disturbing scene drew onlookers, and Remley was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after. Police confirmed that the gunshot was self-inflicted.

Remley was known publicly for her involvement in a high-profile murder-for-hire case that unfolded in 2023. An equestrian by background, she pleaded guilty to plotting the murder of her estranged husband, Mark Remley. Investigators said she attempted to arrange the killing by offering money to someone she believed would carry out the act.
According to reports, Remley initially approached a mutual friend and allegedly offered $2 million to have her husband killed. However, the friend refused to kill the man and contacted the police. A report was made to the police, and officers launched a sting operation to catch Remley in the act of hiring a hitman.
Law enforcement arranged for Remley to meet with someone she believed to be a hitman, who was actually an undercover officer. When Remley offered the undercover cop money to take out her husband, the police moved in, and she was arrested. She pleaded guilty to plotting her husband’s murder and was convicted for three years and eight months. The case was considered closed from a legal standpoint. However, it seems Remley suffered years of personal turmoil linked to the failed murder plot against her husband, leading to her suicide.
