Following the serious paedophile allegations made by Rosealee against Jakes, the father of two has come forward to clear the air and strongly deny the claims. He stated that Rosealee often creates stories when situations do not go her way and suggested that the accusations stem from personal grievances rather than truth.
According to Jakes, Rosealee’s actions are linked to tensions surrounding a woman she believes he is romantically involved with. He alleged that Rosealee desired intimacy with him and became upset when he refused. Jakes further claimed that the current situation mirrors a previously leaked audio recording in which Rosealee was heard complaining to fellow TikToker Akeam about his relationships with other women while he declined to be intimate with her.
During his response, Jakes disrespected Rosealee while asserting that she fabricates narratives and eventually convinces herself they are true. He maintained that he has no interest in rekindling any intimate relationship with her and insisted that her allegations are baseless.
“The biggest issue you have, weh cause di wull a dis right now is because you feel like seh mi and Nessa a f**k,” he said, suggesting that jealousy is at the centre of the dispute. He also accused Rosealee of disrespecting Nessa, whom she believes he is dating, and claimed that her actions were motivated by envy. Additionally, Jakes alleged that Rosealee had previously paid men to be involved with her, referencing statements made by her former friend Dyema.
Jakes firmly denied claims that he had any inappropriate relationship with Rosealee’s younger sister. He emphasised that he only engages in relationships with consenting adults and pointed out that Rosealee, who is believed to be 32, is older than him. He also stated that he has never faced legal issues related to criminal offences involving minors.
Jakes challenged Rosealee to release any evidence she claims to possess, asserting that he, too, has proof of instances where she allegedly attempted to pursue him romantically but was rejected. He further suggested that her alleged lack of intimacy with Akeam prompted her to pursue him for sexual pleasure.
Concluding his remarks, Jakes expressed disappointment over the ongoing conflict, stating that he had hoped their relationship could remain cordial for the sake of their children. He also apologised to supporters, admitting regret over allowing Rosealee back into his life in an effort to co-parent peacefully.
