Krissy TV, the sister of social media personality Kizzy Don, has pushed back against claims that she and their mother were unsupportive during Kizzy’s pregnancy and mocked her baby, firmly denying the allegations and accusing her sister of misrepresenting the situation.
In a series of responses, Krissy said she was blindsided by Kizzy’s statements, insisting that she was never kept informed about the pregnancy. According to her, she learned that Kizzy was expecting, as well as the subsequent birth and death of the baby, through information circulating online.
Krissy explained that despite not being directly involved, she attempted to reach out to her sister following the death of the child, Miracle. However, she claimed her message went unanswered. To support her position, she shared what she said was a screenshot of a message sent to Kizzy, expressing sympathy and acknowledging the difficulty of losing a child, particularly in a foreign country.
In the message, Krissy reportedly wrote that she struggled to find the right words to comfort her sister after what she described as a “more than heartbreaking” experience. She acknowledged that Kizzy may have been feeling “empty” and deeply hurt, possibly dealing with postpartum emotions, and encouraged her to stay strong, assuring her that healing was possible over time.
Krissy maintained that she has consistently supported and defended Kizzy as an older sister and strongly rejected claims that the family mocked either her or the baby. She described those accusations as false and questioned her sister’s motive for making them public.
The response follows a viral video in which Kizzy alleged that her mother and sisters mocked the death of her baby. Kizzy also said having a “toxic family” is the worst because they pretend to be loving in public, but are full of jealousy and hate. Krissy said those claims were hurtful and misleading, arguing that the family also mourned the baby’s death.
“Seh weh yuh wah fi seh, but don’t tell nuh lie pan none a we ova yah,” she said, adding that while she understands her sister may be grieving, spreading what she called false narratives was not the right approach.
Krissy also challenged Kizzy to present any evidence to support her claims, suggesting that her sister appeared to be holding on to “ammunition” against the family. She further questioned why Kizzy was now taking this stance, alleging that Kizzy may be using the controversy to promote her music.
She noted that Kizzy resurfaced online after a period of absence following the baby’s death, around the same time Krissy herself went viral for speaking about her own experience with alleged domestic abuse, which she said resulted in her being hospitalised and reported to the police.
Krissy said she is now focused on her own healing and caring for her children, and does not intend to be drawn into conflict with her sister. She added that their mother has also urged her to disengage, suggesting that Kizzy may be stirring drama because she desires attention.
Krissy further alleged that while Kizzy at one point appeared willing to offer her support amid her breakup. However, when Krissy later sought help, Kizzy reportedly told her to turn to the internet, only for Kizzy to then discourage others from assisting her.
